Calcutta (or Kolkata as it is now known) is a major city in Eastern India. Kolkata, also affectionately known as the 'City of Joy' is a vibrant and bustling city and used to be the capital of India under British rule. It's also the city of my birth. I visited for the first time after 18 years in April 22 and whilst I didn't get much time for photography, I did manage to capture the essence of the city. I hope to return again soon.
